JUNIOR TENNIS

Junior Development Lessons are for all ages and levels. We have a class for the very beginner to the more advanced high school player. Classes for children 12 and under are designed to use the appropriate size racket, ball, and court size.

Competitive Tennis Training programs are for players that have more experience and are looking to train for tournament or school team play.

Kid’s Pizza Play Days are fun events we have once per month for players 4th- 8th grade. This program offers supervised match play and some fun drills followed by pizza and refreshments.

Junior Team Tennis is a  coed match play program for 14 & Under and 18 & under players. Players are matched up according to skill level each week to provide the most competitive matches. A team format is used for each week. Registration fee is waived if the player is enrolled in a Premier lesson program. Register by clicking HERE

Class Descriptions

Tiny Tennis, Ages 4-6 (Summer classes only)

Program is for the true beginner to tennis. Motor skills and hand eye coordination are the primary focus. Beginning stroke mechanics will be introduced on the forehand, backhand, and serve. Age appropriate equipment will be used.

Aces, Ages 6-8

Program is for the true beginner to tennis. Motor skills and hand eye coordination are the primary focus. Beginning stroke mechanics will be introduced on the forehand, backhand, and serve. Age appropriate equipment will be used. All 6 year old must have completed a minimum of 1 session of Tiny Tennis.

Futures, Ages 8-11

Class is designed for the player with a basic understanding of stroke mechanics. This player is beginning to move to the ball and contact has improved. Stroke mechanics on the backhand, forehand, and serve will be reinforced. Age appropriate equipment will be used. All eight year old must have completed 1 session of Aces.

 

 

Challenger, Ages 10-12

Class is designed for the player with an understanding of stroke mechanics. This player is beginning to move to the ball and contact has improved. Stroke mechanics on the backhand, forehand, and serve will be reinforced. All 10 year old must have completed 1 session of Futures.

Teen Beginner, Ages 12-17

Middle School Clinic, Grades 6th-8th

 

This class is designed for the player aspiring to play high school tennis.  Drills will be designed around stroke execution and development.  Point play is also a regular training component.

High School Drill, Players in grades 9-12

This program is a co-ed high school drill for players in grades 9-12 who compete in a High School Environment.  Drills will be designed to focus on doubles and singles strategy and positioning.  Point play is also a regular training component.
